Andrew Knaup is a Director of Choral Music at Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana where he directs High Voltage, Chamber Choir, Encores, Varsity and Vocal Majority.
Andrew received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Butler University’s Jordan College of Arts in Indianapolis where he helped pilot an international student teaching program between Butler and the Hong Kong International School where he was the first Bulldog to ever complete part of his student teaching while abroad. Andrew received his Master of Science in Education from Butler University in 2013. Andrew’s performance credits at Butler include the Butler Chorale under the direction of Dr. Eric Stark, Marching Band and touring the world as a member of Jordan Jazz, one of the Mid-west’s finest vocal jazz ensembles. Andrew has served on both the Show Choir and Concert Committees for the Indiana State School Music Association. He is sought as a clinician and adjudicator in Indiana and across the country for both the show and concert choir genres.
Andrew and his wife, Anna, are expecting their first child in September and live in Franklin Township with their two fat and sassy cats, Gertrude and Gershwin.
