2024 marks an incredible milestone - the 50th anniversary of the very first show choir competition to ever take place. It all happened at Bishop Luers High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana! What started as a small swing choir contest on a tarp in the gym has grown into a full weekend of competitive divisions, with modern touches like incredible sound and a high-quality live stream. Groups of all sizes can be accommodated at Bishop Luers, which is located in close proximity to the Fort Wayne International Airport and downtown Fort Wayne. The performance area features ample wing space for costume changes, transitions, and privacy for performers, and the stage is easy to load on and off of with large ramps on both sides. The volunteers and students work incredibly hard to make sure you feel like a part of the rich history of show choir while you are a guest at Bishop Luers!

Scoring Method
Bishop Luers uses Carmen Scoring, a web-based scoring system that is used by the judges to input scores and to tabulate the results from our ballots.
Placements in the middle school division are determined by total raw scores.
Placements in the high school divisions are determined by ordinal ranking consensus converted from raw scores with both vocal and visual judges' scores. The scores from the Band Ballot will be used to determine the Best Band caption and will not affect the overall outcome.
Placements in finals are determined by ordinal ranking consensus converted from raw scores on the Finals Adjudication Sheet.
