Burbank, Los Alamitos, and Brea will be there too. I thought there was a fourth choir, maybe from outside CA but I'm not sure.... Hopefully someone will post the complete schedule soon.

Burbank, Los Alamitos, and Brea are the only Tier 1 schools going to SoCal.

So i watched the feed last night over here on the east coast... i was up until 3:30 am watching it, but it was soooo worth it!!! I loved every show, and the ones that of course stuck out were los al, burbank, and john burroughs. i loved the themes that los al and burbank had, and the soloists that were in burroughs' show were INCREDIBLE! especially the girl that changed like 3 times on stage.... incredible! im so happy i got to see all of the shows this year! thanks haakon for making the live stream possible!

What I meant about updating is to place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.. for intermediate and novice on the results page on Day One..
It'd be awesome to see the competition records for the schools that competed that first day >__<

And for the Advanced Women's Division it was not Burbank "In Sync" who won, it was the Burbank "Impressions." Thanks!

I think both groups were just spectacular in their performances and I only wish both groups the best at SoCal next week
Both Los Alamitos "Sound FX" and Burbank "In Sync" will be competing at the Southern California Show Choir Invitational next weekend. As you can see I wrote this post at 1:30 in the morning on the bus coming home from Burroughs and I'm sorry if I made that part confusing. Thanks!

As for the top tier division at Burroughs, both Los Alamitos and Burbank were amazing!!! I think the question of which choir sang better or which show was better is completely subjective. I think both groups were just spectacular in their performances and I only wish both groups the best at SoCal next week and also with the fact Los Alamitos will now be attending the FAME National Show Choir Finals again in 2013!!!

Also, if I may add, Burroughs "Powerhouse" was also spectacular and their performance was a great way to end the competition!!! I think the performance they gave tonight was the best I've seen this year!!! Good luck to them also at the 2013 National Show Choir Finals!!!!

Overall, the John Burroughs Music Showcase show choir competition was a fantastic competition and definitely a great memory of the 2013 competition season on the West Coast!

So Burbank will be the only AAA group there next weekend?

Watching the live feed I must say I really enjoyed Los Al, Burbank, and Burroughs. All incredible shows. I know I cannot properly judge because I was not there and blah blah. But, I definitely thought Burbank outsang Los Al. I thought they won. Oh well. Don't hate me, or do. I don't really care

Also, I didn't like Burroughs show when I first watched it. It's grown on me now for sure and I actually loved it; the ballad and "I Surrender" especially

Other note, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE LIVE STREAM

Congrats to all the competing groups and thank you Haakon for the live stream, wouldn't have been able to see it without your extra effort to stream it for free!
