The results that I know from tonight for the A division are:
GC - Martinsburg
1st runner up - Cosby
2nd runner up - Hanover
3rd runner up - Matoaca

Not sure of the caption awards. All of the groups I saw tonight did an amazing job, congratulations to everyone

Everything is in place for your arrival...The lobby has been truly transformed... the food has arrived... the event specialty items are in..the step and repeat is ready for the STARS...the red carpet is waiting to be strutted upon...the auditorium looks fabulous...the sound system is better than ever...the lighting has been adjusted and aimed...the judges are in town...THE STAGE IS SET FOR THEE PREMIER SHOW CHOIR EVENT in Virginia and the LARGEST on the EAST COAST! See you soon!

We have just a couple of spots remaining to fill the TWO DAY schedule!! Currently there are 27 participating choirs for this action packed weekend!

The event venue will be unlike any other in the country! Our "Stars on Stage" theme will be complete with:
Literally ROLLING OUT THE RED CARPET!
*Hollywood style Step and Repeat for paparazzi moments and a truly unique welcome for all choirs
*Larger than life award replicas
*Multiple photo-op spots
*Newly added superlative awards to be presented prior to the host groups performance
*Stadium seating for closed circuit broadcast in the commons
*"Over the top" homerooms for each choir
*AND SO MUCH MORE!!

We are counting down the days and anticipate your participation in this "star studded" event!!

The 23rd Annual Central Virginia Show Choir Invitational
"Stars on Stage"
at Manchester High School on March 2nd and 3rd, 2012
Hosted by the Choirs of MHS and the MHS Choral Boosters


The Central Virginia Show Choir Invitational has historically been the Largest and Most Visited SHOW CHOIR event in the State and Region. Held at Manchester High School in Midlothian, Va; this event will feature single gender show choirs and soloist on Friday and mixed gender show choirs and soloist on Saturday, a critically acclaimed and qualified judging panel with over 50 years of combined experience in the specific industry, a professional sound and lighting sceme custom designed for the 2012 event, a delicious and varied food menu- including catered food for directors, action photography, on the spot DVD recordings and so much more to come!!!
As always the helpful and friendly staff of Choral Boosters and Volunteers will be on hand to ensure that all goes smoothly and the "Tradition of Excellence" continues at Manchester High School!
We look forward to welcoming you and your choir to this years event!
