I. Am. Floored. THIS COMP WAS SO GOOD!!!!!!!! This might be the most creative batch of shows i have seen at a single competition EVER. From Plymouth having a boat on stage and rocking it while singers were standing on it, to Waubonsie Valley changing the vocals of their songs to fit their theme a la Lowell (MA), to New London hiding their soloist behind their giant lighthouse set, to Eisenhower signing half of their set in Spanish (with a KILLER ballad), to not one, but TWO GROUPS (Waconia and Holmen) cutting the lights during their ballad, nearly EVERY SHOW had something I’d never seen a show choir do before, and I couldn’t be happier to have spent my Saturday watching it. Thank you so much for putting on such mind-blowing performances!!!!!!

btw, after watching my 4th comp of the season, I can safely say that 2025 is the year of white pants

Great performances!
I was happy to hear that the vocals were scored by judges with actual degrees in vocal music. I think it is good to separate the scoring so that dance professionals are scoring choreo and singing pros are scoring voice. Bravo to this comp!

Not to brag, but from 5 to 10 the margin was 4.3 points. Again, insanely tight.

This competition always makes me think of the showchoir.com all-star "ShowBandMom28". I am hopeful she makes her presence known again one day. I sit in anguish awaiting this appearance.

This is SUCH a stacked event! The #7-10 groups today could very well win a competition on a different week. This has been great to watch!

This is likely to be a very competitive race for top three with Tomah, Chesterton, and Waconia. It's going to be interesting to see how this competition turns out.

Don't forget Sparta Upstage Adrenaline. They are looking pretty strong this year. The Backstage Beats (their band) has 3 Best Band trophies all ready this season..
