Honestly, I'm just happy we placed. We didn't have a very successful year last year and our first comp was Johnston. Getting into finals was huge. After that competition, I'm confident we'll have a great year.
Happiness Inc., I wish I saw your show cause I heard it was incredible. I heard you guys are going to the La Crosse Invitational so I hope I can see you there. I didn't really watch many groups, but I was pretty impressed by the groups I saw.
Davenport North, I loved your show. I got so freakin excited to hear that your opener was Kings and Queens. I really wanted to do that for our opener this year, but the song is almost exactly like our opener from last year (Use Somebody). Your vocals were insane (I think I almost cried during your ballad ). I really hope we don't have to compete against you guys.
All in all, it was a fun first comp of the year for Jefferson Connection.

I am confused...how can Davenport central compete if it's their competition? Aren't they just going to be exhibiting?
It's not Dav Central's competition. It's Dav NORTH'S competition, so they're the exhibition and Dav Central can compete. I get confused with all the Dav schools too!
Based off of what I have seen/heard:
GC: Kennedy(BV)
2nd: City High(BB)
3rd: Davenport Central
4th: Bettendorf
5th: Bloomington Jefferson
6th: Western Dubuque
I think best choreography could go to Kennedy or City. It will be a tough competition, especially between the top 3 and I wish all groups the best of luck!
