Congrats to Petal! They are on a roll this year. Also congrats to Glenwood on 1st runner-up. I was a little worried for them because of all the amazing groups here, but they obviously had a solid performance. It's always cool to see groups from other parts of the country compete in the South, and I can't wait to see how WWS does this coming weekend at Petal.

The real issue is the massive amount of props, backdrops, scenery, etc. that enter and exit from one side of the stage through tight hallways. Oak Mountain, Auburn, and Petal all had HUGE amounts of the stuff on top of being the three largest choirs outside of the host. Hard to keep on time when none of that stuff is able to go through a seamless one-way flow, and it’s hard to engineer that into a school that’s built into the side of a mountain with the auditorium being on the mountain side instead of the street side.
