Thoughts after prelims:
I thought Mt. Zion might give Carmel and Center Grove a run for their money as far as choreography. They were pretty great but Carmel and CG have certainly stepped it up since I saw them last, two weeks ago. I pretty much knew Center Grove would lead vocally and I was not wrong. The second they opened their mouths, it was just fantastic. I came in thinking Carmel would win once again but after prelims, I’m really thinking CG could take this with best vocals, and a chance at best choreography. Although, I would think Carmel would get best choreo. But in terms of who wins, it feels like a toss up between Carmel & CG. I’m calling 2RU Mt. Zion, 3RU Fishers, 4RU Brownsburg. But things can certainly change throughout finals

This contest still does finals as the reverse order from prelims, yes? My last trip here was eleven years ago, and that’s how they did it.

It appears that prelim results have been posted as well with a tie between Fishers and Brownsburg for 3rd.

What a great competition. I truly did not know who would come out on top in either of the Finals. The scoring margins must have been razor thin.

I am watching from my laptop. Last night I was able to click on full screen. Today the only option is picture in picture. What do I need to do to get the full screen option?

These predictions are only for fun, and I like to see them play out. Pretty much every group here this weekend is fantastic, and I'm so excited to see how it plays out.

GC: Carmel "Ambassadors" (BC, BV)
1RU: Center Grove "Sound System"
2RU: Mt. Zion "Swingsations"
3RU: Fishers "Electrum"
4RU: Lafayette Jefferson "The First Edition"

GC: Carmel "Accents" (BC)
1RU: Center Grove "Debtones"
2RU: Fishers "Sound" (BV)
3RU: Brownsburg "Starlight Voices"

Again, lots of flexibility here (mainly in the captions, which could go either way between the top 2 or 3 spots in most cases, and also in the Sound v. Debtones assortment), but every group attending is fantastic and I am thrilled to see everyone own the stage.

4RU: Fishers “Electrum”

Frankly it feels wrong to leave 3 groups out of finals here all things considered. Also apparently this season I’ve decided to make no normal predictions. I think the Choreo caption here is going to be between Carmel and Mt Zion and I think vocals will be between CG and Carmel.

Treble-

GC: Fishers “Sound” (BC)
1RU: CG “Debtones” (BV)
2RU: Carmel “Accents”
3RU: Brownsburg “Starlight Voices”

I think these are the the 3 premier treble choirs in the country, think it will be a fantastic Saturday for them.
