Brea Mixed and Brea girls competed against each other in the same division... and were the only groups in that division?

It was the first time for Gladstone to host a competition, thus a much smaller competition.

Hart's competition was on the same night and many of the bigger programs attended that competition. I believe the new rules of performers in multiple groups affects Brea Olinda more than any other school. There are performers who are in two or three of their performing groups. They seem to be attending the competitions that do not have the rule and avoiding the other competitions. It is well known fact that there have been some conflicts between Mr. Willert and some of the other directors. Not opinion, just a well known fact.

Brea's advanced groups were the only advanced competitors, so they made it an open advanced division.

Marquis and Solitaire were suppose to go, but I have no idea why we didn't.

In the Intermediate Mixed division, Los Altos received both Musicianship and Showmanship awards as well. And Janella Lee received Outstanding Female Soloist.

Gladstone is a school new to show choir comps this year correct? And they are already hosting a competition? wow! go them! Who is their director?
They actually started last year. Last year they had an advanced womens show choir called "Dynamic Divas", but this year instead of a womens division, they have a mixed intermediate division, so yeah. Apparently so, it's not a big competition, but it's definitely a start. Their director is Janae Nafziger, I think she also choreographs for them too.

So, I have received word from two people from Brea Olinda that there was an intermediate mixed, intermediate womens, and an open advanced division.

We need some more of these other directors to get involved on the site... I hadn't even heard of that competition before.
Yeah, I agree. I don't think it's that a big competition. Haha Diamond Bar was suppose to go, but my director canceled it for some reason. I know Brea Olinda is going, so if I can get a hold of anyone from Brea Olinda I can get the information haha.

I think that's the name of the competition according to Pacificia's choir website. If anyone who competed at this competition could tell me the competitors and the results that would be great! :D
