As someone that’s a Burroughs alumni soundwaves 2011-2014 I always found it interesting that in Cali we don’t do finals. I never got my answer as to why I just thought A not enough groups competing in AAA or they don’t want to put AA and intermediate mixed choirs in those positions.

I heard Los Al fx is doing a set based of a film called leap of faith wasn’t that the inspiration for their 2020 set

They added some songs, changed the on-stage set. They are reusing the set again this year since it didn’t get a real competition season.

Why didn’t they just pull Los Al into tier 2 or bring someone up to tier 1 so they had some competition?

This topic has been covered at length in the "2022 Undefeated Groups/Winning Streaks" thread that is currently circulating in the forums.

Most tier 2 groups have under 30 members. None of us want to compete with a choir that has 50+ voices
