Is this event still happening this week? Does anybody know who is going? and is it competitive?

Yes, it is still happening, at least to the best of my knowledge. Don't have a full lineup but I would expect some of the regulars like Thayer Central, Meridian, Harvard, Grand Island Catholic and a few others. Grand Island Northwest's prep is also going. The listing I found said "competition", so I do believe that it is competitive.
