The Best Male soloist was Zane Bray from Homestead “Class Royale” and I am pretty positive the Best Female soloist was Emily (idk the last name I’m sorry!!!) from Norwell

I noticed that on the schedule and assumed it was a typo. Eastside is competing in the women's division for their other 4 contests this year. If folks have additional clarification, then you're welcome to let us know.

Would Homestead automatically qualify for finals since they are the only competing group in that division? Just want some claifications, that's all

I would say technically speaking here… if Homestead “Class Royale” placed lower than 5 of the groups in Tier 2 they would not make finals. So it’s not really automatic. They have to place 5th or higher in prelims with the other mixed groups

In addition for everyone making predictions.. since Homestead “Elite” will have their own women’s finals, you can’t put them in mixed finals in the predictions on here!

Just a quick note on the Predictions feature on this page: since this contest has 5 mixed finalists, that sixth spot in predictions would be for who you think will be the top placing choir in the women's finals. The order of operations for how the predictions feature reads and scores submitted predictions is the general finals division first, then if there aren't 6 finalists it bounces next to tier II finals, and if that doesn't exist, it then goes on to women's finals. Häakon can correct me on any of that since he built it. Again, that's just if you're trying to earn the highest possible score through the Predictions feature here. Folks are welcomed to post in the comments their separate predictions for mixed and for women's finals.
