Findlay just finished and preliminary awards will be happening around 4:45 pm I believe. If anyone there can keep us in the loop, we'd appreciate it.

I'll say just a few things after watching prelims via live stream: Findlay closed daytime out a notch above the rest. Signature FFE precision, tapping, flashy set, and fun energetic songs. I'd like a Getting Married Today Medley (10 Minute Version) please. FFE's show was crisp visually and sounded great, despite a few hiccups in the ballad. Piqua had the most intensity of any group. Their guys in the closer were on another level and their bandography was a really cool feature. Ada, even as host group, had maybe one of the best openers of the day. Dang Varsity Singers is a large group this year and look like they have a bright season ahead of them. Kenton had a fun, ambitious show with I think a really high ceiling. South Dearborn was strong and consistent. Teays girls were a large group and had a fantastic show. And I loved the Licking Valley Lady Gaga songs and shoutout to them for doing a great job with only 11 singer/dancers. All the choirs had some positives this early in the season and a good foundation to continue building upon.

It was a good day of show choir, glad that it's back, and looking forward to finals.
