Really great day of competition at Glenwood on Saturday. Judges were Steve Woodin, Michelle Chaplin, Chris Storm, Joel Johnston and Sara Kleopfer Langdon. Great job to all the competing groups! The support from the schools as they competed against each other was fantastic, and I greatly enjoyed chatting with such friendly parents from Blair, Gretna, Glenwood and Grand Island.
The finals were very competitive. The groups really took the judges' comments to heart, and implemented many changes into their shows, from moving around the order of their songs, choreographing a new bow, changing the use of their props and elmiinating stage lighting. All of the changes resulted in what felt like entirely new shows in the finals, and each group really rose to the occasion and put on their best performance. Congrats to all on a great day of passion, talent, energy and dedication displayed on stage!
