This was a cool event of show choirs from all around and I appreciated the commentary in between. I love that Häakon's feeds add that extra element in the down time. Nice job, everyone!
Also, I missed the segment where they explained the format of the tournament (points, who gets to advance to the tournament finals, etc.), so if anyone wants to share more about Show Choir LIVE's process, please do.
I may be wrong, but this is how I interpreted the tournament system:
I believe that the finals will be based on the top 4 or top 3 groups that scored the highest in their respected division over the three-day competition. So, even though a group may be in the top three on day one, they could miss out on finals just because they are not in the top 3 overall three days. And the opposite can happen too. In addition, I believe that the overall score is based on raw points.
