That/ doesn't really look like a mess to me, and I feel no heat. Ben Davis and Norwell both have excellent Mixed AND single gender groups. Don't take away from their win just because it also happened to be your loss. I'm sure the judges didn't go into the competition thinking "hey, we should really screw Edgewood and Teays valley... just for kicks"
I never said the judges intended to screw us over. It was a ranking system in which one judge who was all over the place in every division hurt and helped every group. I was throwing it out there as a joke for everyone that was there last year. I know Ben Davis and Norwell have great choral programs, I have been around for quite a while.
But my biggest argument is for two completely different divisions. How do you judge a group of all girls on vocals from bass and tenor parts of the score sheet. I understand you look at overall vocal production but it shouldn't be looked at the same. It was a year ago, I was using it for reference because I was saying I wouldn't be surprised if the results were like last years.
Now, if we go by what happened last year, the grand champion could be anyone and then somehow two Single-Gender groups would place in front of Danville and Edgewood. Anyone who was there last year knows what I mean.

3RU: Ben Davis "Sounds"
4RU: Edgewood "Music Warehouse"
