Scoring judges for the event were Dave Fog, Clay Blackman and Michelle Chaplin.
During Sioux Falls ClaCo ballad, their video boards blew the power. The group carried on acapella, and their pianist jumped from the keyboard to the acoustic piano backstage to continue the performance. The judges and Mr. Spencer stopped the performance, power was restored, and the students restarted their show. They did an excellent job of maintaining their composure and professionalism during the power outage. Kudos to SF ClaCo for exemplifying the "never give up" mentality so well!
Extravaganza used a modified schedule this year- all groups in open class.

Anybody got divisions for this one? I would assume it would be the A divisions with the two Rock Valley choirs and Stage Lights in the single-gender division but it's been a weird year.
Assuming IHSMA classifications:
4A (Tier I)
Waseca
SF Washington
3A (Tier II)
Spirit Lake
Harlan
Sheldon
2A (Tier III)
Pocahontas Area
Manson Northwest Webster
1A (Tier IV)
St. Edmond
Single-Gender Division
Stage Lights
Both Rock Valley choirs
This one is just Saturday. Admission by voucher only, vouchers have already been distributed to directors so contact them with questions and not Extravaganza.
The schedule I saw did not delineate divisions nor group names, which turned out to be problematic for a couple schools.
8:30 AM - Pocahontas Area
9:30 AM - Waseca
10:30 AM - St. Edmond Jr/Sr
11:30 AM - Spirit Lake
12:30 PM - Emmetsburg "Black & Gold" (exhibition)
1:30 PM - Sioux Falls Washington
2:30 PM - Harlan Community
3:30 PM - Sioux Falls Washington
4:30 PM - Rock Valley
5:30 PM - Sheldon
6:30 PM - High Voltage (exhibition)
7:30 PM - Manson Northwest Webster
8:30 PM - Rock Valley (I guess they're starting a second group this year? it is under the show choir and not jazz choir portion)
