That was my favorite version of Blue Skies ever. But Sioux City East actually performed Irving Berlin's "Blue Skies". Grand Island did Point of Grace's "Blue Skies" ala La Crosse Central 2006. Two different songs. Just so people weren't confused.

Thank you for clarifying. Lol. I was wondering how that would work as a ballad. Sorry for confusing people!

Blue Skies is one of my all time favorite show choir songs...I can't remember who did it my junior year but the male soloist was AMAZING!! It was at Onalaska. It might have been Omaha Westside, but I can't remember. It was amazing!

What was the name of Grand Island's/SW Lincoln's (because I can't remember who the ballad belonged to) ballad?
Something about blue skies, I believe?

It was GORGEOUS!
With the a Capella duet.
Gave me chills every time.
Wonderful performance.

I believe it is actually titled "Blue Skies" and is by Point of Grace.

Just clear up some the "Prep" division, I know 1st was Johnston Synergy, then Millard and Lincoln were 1st an 2nd runner up I don't remember in which order though.
1st- Johnston Synergy
2nd- Lincoln SW Ambiance
3rd- Millard West (Swing Cats? I think that's their name. )

3rd to Riverside and Johnston is not half bad, good work Resonance and all other groups competing. Keep improving and stepping it up each week.
