The new red font color for canceled comps is just brutal to see, not because it’s hard to look at but purely because of how much of it there is

Hearing that this contest is still on, as of now, but that Boaz and Tarpon Springs are unable to travel.

Since this competition doesn't do a finals round I'm going to predict this competition by division.
Championship Division (Tier I)
GC: Albertville 'CenterStage!' (BV, BC)
1RU: South Jones 'Company'
2RU: Appling County 'Applause'
3RU: Boaz 'Elite'

Albertville is probably coming to this competition wanting to prove themselves. After not placing at any competition this year, I can assume that they are coming to this competition ready. South Jones could also take home the gold at this competition. After having a rough year this year they too could be out to prove themselves. Appling County could also sneak up there if they patch up some spots in their show. Their ballad soloist is amazing and they have some really nice vocal moments throughout the show. I have yet to see Boaz so I can't really comment on them.

Small Mixed (Tier II)
GC: Tarpon Springs 'Syndicated Sound' (BV, BC)
1RU: Lakeside 'Soundsation'
2RU: Fitzgerald 'Encore Unlimited'

Tarpon Springs has been a powerhouse at this competition in years past and they also competed at Lakeside this year and won their division so I expect them to pull the win out here too. Even though Fitzgerald beat Lakeside at Opelika, I feel that Lakeside will be determined to beat them this week. The first-runner up and the second-runner up are interchangeable. It will come down to who is better that day. As for Grand Champion of small mixed, I fully expect it to go to Tarpon Springs unless something major goes wrong that day for them.
