Just for the benefit of all you folks making predictions--
We only have FIVE finalists, and our rules state that Marion Harding will only be able to have ONE group in finals regardless of how they rank at the end of the day. So If both groups qualify point-wise, Marion Harding will get to choose which one performs in finals.
That's great info to have, thank you! I will add to this that although the system will only include the five finalists in the overall scoring, you may still select six groups in your prediction placements. This gives you a leg up compared to other contests, because although there is no 6th place finisher, you still get credit for a placement that wasn't a perfect match. And, since competitions with a lower number of total available points are scored on a curve to be equal in weight to others, having an extra choir on your ballot gives you a massive advantage compared to events where you've got to figure out all six perfectly. If you're into making predictions, I highly recommend making guesses on this one - the odds are more in your favor!
