I think someone needs to make a competition for all the #1 choirs to compete against each other. Yes winning nationals is a huge accomplishment but imagine the feeling of winning against schools as good as you are. Sometimes I feel like everyone thinks/knows losal is going to win cause of how amazing they are but wouldn’t it be the best feeling of winning when you don’t know if you will win?

I'm definitely biased.... but *both* Los Al sets (FX and Trax) were amazing this year. Possibly the best ever for both groups. Everyone is truly, profoundly sad not to be able to perform them at Nationals. Unfortunately there really aren't any quality videos to release that have full costumes/sets. Hopefully there will be a way to record the sets and release them later this spring.

I don’t think anyone is super upset about the quality. I’m not sure how many agree with me but both John Burroughs and Los Al have my favorite shows each has done this year.

Logistically speaking, I think it’s almost impossible to reschedule between booking the Opry for another three days and having all the school districts, hotels, Opry, etc. agree on the same weekend so that multiple groups can attend. I know it sucks but I’m afraid there isn’t a ton anybody can do right now.

I saw on the grand old opry website they have suspended live audiences at shows until April 4th.

Governor JB Pritzker of Illinois just shuttered all Illinois schools until March 30. It is extremely unlikely if not impossible at this point that Swings will attend nationals
