Just wanted to send a shout out to Fairfield for putting on an amazing show. Congrats to JB girls for your success as well! While I'm at it, I loved Onalaska's show this year and I was disappointed not to see Bloomington Kennedy in finals...I think their show was worthy of a spot...but what a good day of great shows!

That's awesome Cece! But Y U NO LIKE FAIRFIELD? I need something for the weekend wrapup.

Congrats to Sound Sensations for showing you can go toe to toe with the best of them, and to Fairfield for a ridiculously awesome season... FAME Chicago is going to be one crazy battle!

Does anyone know if the participants of the solo competition will ever receive comment sheets from Liz Callaway or find out how they placed?
Just wondering, because we got that stuff last year.

Someone stole my scooter. If you saw anyone from your choir or band take home a white/black razor kick scooter, sieve them. A lot.

Put this in the Connection group, someone probably has it. Call our bus company too.

No one stole your scooter. It was in your homeroom at the end of the night. I have it and will be glad to send it to you. PM me.

I would just like to say that i really liked going to this competition. I met some great people with accents (they think they same about me) and the city of La Crosse is awesome. Thanks for having us !!!

Sound Sensations set took that long to set up? I thought they didn't take the LED background.
We didn't bring one, but we only had four techies with us and we are used to having 30 minutes instead of 25, so there was a bit of confusion.

I had a great time at Grand River! it was really interesting to see how things are done in the mid-west. And also, the people there were really nice!! Although I didn't really get to watch many choirs, the ones I did see I was very impressed with.

Sound Sensations celebrated their win with a day at the waterpark in the Raddison at the Mall of America, and we fly home tomorrow!
Thanks for a welcoming environment and great time!

Also, thank you to the people that thought about us while we were gone!

Way to go Fairfield!!!! 2 of the top 3 in prep/single gender, 3 of the top 8 overall, and then 2 of the top 6 in finals, with Choraliers taking Grand Champion!!. What a terrific group of young adults. You make all of us who support you very proud.

In addition, WAY TO GO RHYTHM EXPRESS!! As the only competing Middle School, you did a fantastic job! What a great way to end your 2010/2011 competition season.

Wanted to throw out a congratulations to Bloomington Jefferson "Jefferson Connection" on grabbing best band. This was the first competition that Fairfield did not completely sweep all season!

What a great way to end my day in LaCrosse... congrats and thanks to everyone who performed in finals! It was amazing to be able to watch show choir for a second week in a row, and yet so weird, especially considering the face of the Jeff mom I was talking to after she found out I had gone to Wheaton last week too... I couldn't even make predictions after watching, because everyone was so good!

What stands out? Pure Elegance kicking off the night in splendid fashion. Definitely Jefferson's opener, and their second song. And how they milked that super-jazzy arrangement of Georgia. Wahlert's opener was super killer, and it was inspiring to watch how the facials changed over the course of the show - those kids definitely got their show. Choraliers rocked my life. Choreo was easily the cleanest of the night, and they sing so beautifully. Their show is uniquely stunning, well-designed, and could win in Chicago. Onalaska's opener was just as good live, and the ballad and guys/girls number were awesome too. Oh, and Sound Sensations isn't a prep group. No way. Those ladies perform so wonderfully, and I'm glad they came out from Cali to show us how girls' groups should be done.

To Bloomington Kennedy RIG: I heard you guys had an AWESOME show from some JIVE girls who attended yesterday. I haven't actually gotten a chance to see it live but, just thought I'd let you know that I love it
