Assuming it's the 4 spots they usually have for finals, it's the top 4 scores in daytime.

What are the prelminary awards? Are they just an announcement of who will be in finals or any awards given for Single-Gender or mixed during that.

They will announce the most outstanding performer in each choir. The solo competition award will be given out. The groups that made finals in both the single gender and mixed will also be announced. There may be a few more but that’s all I know off hand.

Why won’t there be a live stream of the competition?

Maybe, they don’t have the capabilities to produce such thing. And it may be completely out of their control.

And that’s not their fault.

To piggy back off Patrick, live feeds are a lot of work. To a lot of programs, their competition is the biggest fundraiser they do all year so reducing cost in every way is sometimes needed.

We all appreciate a good live feed if you're unable to make the drive to the competition, but if you're able to make the trip- go and support these great kids and show choir programs. I promise it is worth it!
