Don't ask me to pick between Mount Pleasant and Keokuk. I'll just break my brain thinking about it.
I can't predict how the groups will end up.....but I can predict that everyone will bring their best show to the stage, we'll have a lot of fun, tears will be shed, and the food will be awesome. If you haven't tried an Almond Berry Dutchie at Dutch Masters, you haven't lived.
But seriously, there are some good groups coming this weekend. Keokuk has always performed well here, as has West Branch. Mount Pleasant has looked and sounded great the last two weekends, and always does well here. CPU is hitting their stride, and West Liberty, Harlan, Central Lee, Carrollton, and Van Meter are Dutch Masters veterans with finals appearance in their recent history. We're excited to welcome Anamosa and Glenwood to DM for their inaugural appearances on our stage.
The weather forecast looks promising for this weekend, so let's gooooooo!!!! Best of luck to each student and director at DM. I'm impressed every year with the level of performances I see from "small school" show choirs in Iowa.
AcaPella and Bravo are excited to see everyone this year at Dutch Masters Show Choir Invitational 2019. This is the 11th year for this event. Our lineup this year for the high school competition includes the following groups:
