What a great show so far. The food is amazing, the venue is outstanding and every choir is putting out a quality performance. I'd buy the soundtrack! Even better, we'll get to see many of these groups again today in finals. Wow! What a show!
The winter weather in northern Illinois, in the Chicago area will be worse than it is down here in St. Louis where conditions will be rather mild. Safety for the groups coming from that part of the country is important and we'll miss the opportunity to see you perform at one of this year's most challenging competitions. Plan on coming back to us next year, Danville and Waubonsie. I am certain that your show's next year will be every bit as good as they have perennially been. You will be missed but the show must go on!
This competition is still happening and many groups are in town staying tomorrow night! Several groups on waiting list who may be adding in so we will keep you posted! Our forecasts are only showing a 40 percent chance of POSSIBLY a light dusting on Saturday in this area. As of now, we have spoken to all of the rest of groups and we are good to go! : )
Wow the predictions are all over the place, and I agree, I can see the results turn out to pretty much anything! I'm looking forward to seeing how everything plays out.
