Just gotta throw this out there: this is the first time a Nebraska show choir has topped Westside since before 2004, and I believe that was to Omaha North at Lewis Central. CONGRATS on FANTASTIC shows from everyone today!! So much heart and soul was poured onstage, especially during finals, and everyone should be beyond proud of what they left onstage today!

Nope. Nic is right! Omaha North was the last group to do so. Congrats to WIG on their achievement! And congrats to my alma mater for putting on a phenomenal show. Proud of y’all <3

You are correct about the competition and school. In 2001, Omaha North beat ATSC at Lewis Central.. Earlier that year at another competition (don't remember which one), both Omaha North and Millard West beat ATSC.

2004 at Onalaska was the last year ATSC did not make finals.

Millard West knocked it out of the park last night. Millard North got robbed. Millard West should have gotten best opener too.

Hey, that’s a pretty rude thing to say on here. Millard North, Millard West, and Westside all worked their butts off to place the way they did, they put on fantastic shows. Hope we can keep the forums free of comments like this in the future.

It is just MY opinion. EVERY one of the the teams work their butts off. Let’s not forget ALL the other performer who contributed to the great show.

I’m not sure if this is the platform to share how you think things should’ve went. That can be very hurtful to the performers. These are still high school kids, and they read these. They all work so hard, and to have the way you placed as a performer be publicly questioned... crushing.
