Yes, I was there and heard that, too. Finals judging was a bit of a mystery.

The groups must have just stepped up their game (just like everyone else). All those choirs are amazing and extremely talented so honestly anything could have happened.

This is just something random that I learned but it was the prelims placement.
(Never announced but was informed)

1st: Omaha Westside
2nd: Findlay
3rd: Marysville
4th: Mt. Zion

I'm not sure what Madison Central and Westwood were placed as though.

I sat right next to Sam during Findlay's show and his face was in complete shock the entire show. I enjoyed watching Findlay's show. The costumes were on point and their pictures popped! They're also amazing people!

I also got to see some other FANTASTIC shows and meet some other AMAZING people. I'm so blessed to have experienced HOA Atlanta this weekend. Congrats to everyone who performed and/or worked this weekend and thank you to everyone who has made an impact on me.

I believe my face was in shock for all of the groups, actually. Such an awesome lineup!

Seeing and competing against Findlay yesterday was a dream come true. Such amazing singers, dancers, and performers. Wish I was able to have more interactions with them, but from the ones I had I can safely say they are some of the most genuine and kind people out there. One of my favorite shows of the year, they had me in AWE. Great job guys!

I'd just like to throw out there that Rylee Winters won Best Male Soloist at every single competition Westwood attended over the past two years (that actually handed out soloist trophies)!!! Congrats kid

Madison Central also received grand champion in concert choir ;) (best repertoire, best tone quality) it wasn't show choir, but it happened here
