my director just informed us that due to a miscalculation, prospect was placed incorrectly. prospect company recieved first runner up, as well as best vocals
I would imagine that in the west, there aren't that many competitions for those groups to 'not' bump into each other many times. The only time we see the west coast groups are when 'once in a blue moon' they are able to travel into our neck of the woods to compete. In Indiana, there are probably three competitions any given week...then factor in those competitions just outside in both Ohio and Illinois. Groups can go almost a whole season before we see those sorts of match ups.
I was specifically talking about HN and LC competing against each other more than twice a year. And like mm-78 said there are so many competitions in Indiana that groups just don;t necessarily see each other often except at big comps like NC, LC, State, etc.
I assume by that you mean for LC and HN or for indiana choirs, but I just thought it was interesting that the top two choirs in california (IMO), burbank and JB, have faced each other 3 times so far this season with a forth still to come (burbank leads 2-1 with JB with 1 GC-2 1RU and Burbank with 2 GC-1 1RU). I wish the top choirs in indy would face each other more often. I would love to see Carmel, LC, HN, Laff Jeff, Pike, NC, Warren, BD, FC, Leurs, Dekalb, Plainfield, Brownsburg etc. etc. face off more often. Indy choirs, for the most part, seem to have such short seasons that you don't see choirs face each other more than once or twice, if you're lucky. Oh well. Such is the indy way with so many show choirs that need to get ready for concert choir season as well.

I agree however so is LC, Carmel, and Franklin. if you looked at the music the choirs sing (mostly 8 parts0 and dance the way they do and STILL sing so well i'd say it shoulda been closet btw lc and hn. especially if lc was better visually which would include choreo but idk its over now time for FAME!!!! (chjicago where they'll face each other for the 3'd time idk if thats happened before in one season)

I for one am not shocked at HN's domination vocally here, HN is one of the vocally best groups in Indiana. At this point in their season they're really tough to beat vocally. Don't know much about most of the groups here visually so can't really give an opinion on any of that
