This competition was so long that when I came to the competition it was winter, and when I left the competition it was spring.
Ten points to you.

An email was sent to directors today saying that Sauk and Onalaska in fact tied, and they will be sending a new trophy plate to Sauk. I would still think that Sauk beat Onalaska, as the groups tied in overall rankings, tied in choreography rankings, and Sauk had all 3rd's vocally, while Onalaska had all 4th's vocally.

We reviewed the score sheets yesterday. The Onalaska Hilltoppers and Sauk Praire Executive Session actually ended up tied for 2nd runner up.

We appologize for not catching the error. We will correct the Sauk Praire trophy.

Thank you to everyone for the entertaining shows. We hope to see you again next year.

They announced at awards that Hilltoppers were 2ndRU, but we found out when we got on the bus that it was actually Executive Session.

Has someone from Holmen confirmed this? I would agree that that's the way it seems on the scoresheets, but nothing was ever told to the directors.

Prelims:

1- Janesville Craig - 828
2 - Sauk Prairie - 827
3 - LaCrosse Logan - 826
4 - Onalaska - 799
5 - Eau Claire - 702
5 - Altoona - 702

Finals:

GC: Janesville Craig - 1, 1, 1, 2
1RU: LaCrosse Logan - 1, 2, 2, 2
2RU: Onalaska - 3, 3, 4, 4
3RU: Sauk Prairie - 3, 3, 4, 4
4RU: Eau Claire - 5, 5, 5, 5
5RU: Altoona - 6, 6, 6, 6

I have no idea how the tie between Sauk and Onalaska was broken. It was definitely not the vocal score...

Also, Claire Olsen from Janesville Craig won Best Female Soloist for the 4th time this year. Forgive me, but I couldn't hear who won Best Male Soloist. I believe he was the ballad soloist from New London.

Apparently the adult group is performing their exhibition right now. From what I've heard, it's Craig, Sauk, Logan as 1 through 3. They were only separated by 2 points after pre-lims.

I think that the two groups from LaCrosse Logan are going to take the top two spots. I have seen the JV group's show and it is very impressive. I cannot wait to cheer them on tomorrow!

This is going to be a close competition. I don't usually make predictions, but I think it might be

GC: La Crosse Logan
1RU: Janesville Craig
2RU: Onalaska
3RU: Sauk Prairie
4RU: Altoona
5RU: Eau Claire Memorial

4th & 5th might switch, but i think this is how it will go.
