Their ballad and closer are original songs that make fun of Tresona, Mark Greenberg, copyright infringement laws, and show choir in general.

I would also like to point out that a good friend of mine, Cassie Wilson, passed away a few months ago. She attended Millard West and was heavily involved in the music program, especially show choir, in her time at West. Her fantastic humor, kind heart, and optimism helped guide many people's lives at Millard West and at the University of Nebraska. Today's Cassie Wilson Sportsmanship award went to Papillion-La Vista South "Titanium."

A bit smaller competition this year but still some great groups attending. After going home early last year O'Vation looks to take a close second behind ATSC. Free Spirit was a major player in Nebraska last year and plans on keeping up with the rest of the pack. Should be a great early season competition.
