Thanks so much!!! That really means a lot to us! It was our first time coming to Brodhead and we had sooo much fun! Thanks to our hosts for a great day, you guys were so nice and fun to hang out with! Congrats to everyone, especially GCS on your win...you guys were unbelievable!! It was such an honor to perform in finals with such an amazing set of groups! Good luck to everyone on the rest of your seasons!

Davenport West originally made finals and they accidently put Palatine in there. They got 7th place and Davenport West got sixth. They weren't gonna send Palatine home after the were announced to be in finals. Over all fun competition. My mom said she really enjoyed GCS's show even though I thought Prospect was gonna take it all.

I remember either you driving around or me driving around the parking lot, and you yelling obscenities out the window about how you didn't agree. Hahahaha.

Yeah... that one is hard for me to forget. We were 6th in the day... and then went home 7th at night with nothing to show. We then received a trophy in the mail weeks later that was broken. Lets just say, Davenport West hasn't been back to Milton since.

Brodhead was a lot of fun. There's always so much energy at that competition.

Also, not sure if anyone said this already, but I'm pretty sure that LaX GCS also had Best Band. Best Dressed, however, went to MG. Best Female Soloist was someone from Logan (she had a gorgeous tone quality.) Dont recall the Best Male Soloist.

I'm glad they made the alleged mistake. I had Palatine 3rd after pre-lims, and Davenport West 8th. Also had Mayville in finals, they have a very good show.

That is correct, but it wasn't due to a scoring error. It was just reading names off a computer quickly and misreading a line by mistake. So therefore there were 7 groups in finals...all of them did a wonderful job too!

From what I hear... Davenport West was SUPPOSED to be in finals (6th place day round ranking), but were not announced due to a scoring error.

I heard finals results were-

Grand Champion: La Crosse Central
1st Runner-Up: La Crosse Logan
2nd Runner-Up: Prospect
3rd Runner-Up: Fort Atkinson
4th Runner-Up: Monona Grove
5th Runner Up- Davenport West
6th Runner-Up: Palatine

Can anyone confirm?

Pretty sure I sent you and Nick the same text. Maybe not . This is correct.
