After watching everyone all day, and seeing everyone's faces during Fairfields' performance, I was surprised at the results!

Fairfield was AMAZING! I loved "I put a spell on you", it was super hot and fun! and those dresses were kickass. a new group to add to my favorites

CS, I love you. and you know it. that is all.

HN: I've missed their shows for the last couple years, and this year did not disappoint me! ballad was beautiful as usual and the whole show was classy and clean

in my mind, GC was a toss up between all three and it wouldn't have seemed wrong at all.

ps: Zville's ballad was gorgeous. I could hear the basses from all the way back and it made the sound SO rich! and I don't know what it's really called but the soprano canon trickly thing! loved it.

I thought their judging system was a bit odd... The whole judging board scored every area of competition: vocals, visuals, and general effect. There were no specific judges for specific score sections.

i agree with julio... this system is really not that odd at all. In fact I would say it is 50/50 if the judges score everything or just vocals or choreo... I know show choir can be confusing but you will get the hang of it

Thats how their system has been. There are judges for the single gender and different judges for the mixed in the day time and then in finals they bring them all together so I think there are 8 maybe more in finals???? IDK its been a while since I competed at CG

Who competed in Small Mixed? Large Mixed?

I believe Small Mixed was Roncalli, Austin, New Palestine, Whiteland, Woodlan & Norwell.

Large Mixed was Shelbyville, Highland, Churubusco, Zionsville, Huntington North, Fairfield & Lawrence Central.

I definitely wouldn't count out Lawrence Central either... they tend to place pretty evenly with Huntington North, who tends to place pretty evenly with Fairfield. But of course this is a new year, so who knows what will happen

GC =THE CENTRAL SOUND!!!!!!!! CONGRATS GUYS AN GALS!!!! Followed by Fairfield HN,Zionsville, and Norwell

BV + BV = LCCS!!!!

anyways...

does anyone know ticket prices for the day/night?

Thanks

I'm at the competition. $8 for day or evening only. $14 for both.

CG does a great job of hosting. LC has come here for a few years, but my first trip. Come on out and support CG and the choirs!
