Here's a big shout out for the Sound Edition. They really left it on stage yesterday. 2 great performances that really showed what a small group can do against the big guys. Anderson, well, we didn't get to see your show because you performed right before us both times, but our parents told us your show was really good. Dekalb and Northrup, really good shows and the scores reflected just how close it can get in these contest. This was our highest finish and only our 2nd night show chance to perform. Congrats to East Noble ladies on their championship and to Bishop Dwenger on what I think was their first night show. I know what a big deal that is for a young program. Good luck to all of you this season.
To the folks at Marion, it might not have been perfect(testing 1,2,3. is this thing on?), but for a first time as a host you did a very good job. Our student hosts did a great job with the room and helping us with our needs. Thank you. We'll be back next year.
As a parent sponsor, I could'nt have been more proud of our kids. Way to go New Haven! Way to represent the Bulldogs.

Is this a fairly new contest? Who were the judges?

Yes, this was the first year that Marion has hosted a competition.

As far as judges go, I know one was the former principal of Marion High School, and though I have no way of being sure of this, someone was saying one judge was a psychiatrist??

Yeah. It was their first year, I think. Or at least that's what people have been telling me.

I don't know what the judge's names were because they really didn't have a program- it was just a piece of paper with all the groups names on it with their times of warm-up and performances... so I have no clue.

Ally.

Does anyone know a complete schedule for this competition? And I'm guessing it's at Marion High School in Indiana?

My ladies division predictions:
Grand Champion: DeKalb
2nd: Anderson
3rd: East Noble

Best Vocals: DeKalb
Best Choreography: DeKalb
Best Instrumentals: DeKalb (I know this is not how I predicted this award for the mixed groups, but Northrop's ladies group is in its second season of competition and is likely not to have as good of arrangements as their mixed group.)

just wondering who are you. and what choir are you from SSMMfan4life?

Well, our girls group goes first and we perform at 8:30. So, that's when it starts. Our mixed group goes on at 3:30 and I believe finals start at 7.

Correct me if I'm wrong though.
