Honestly I sat in the same place for prelims... and these were what first came to my mind....

Findlay
-Diction in ballad
-Blend more in Novelty
-You couldn’t here violins in ballad
-Great male sound
-Best Ballad All Day

West Milton
-Work on Diction
-Majorly work on male tone in opener
-Blending is a nightmare
-awesome female sound
-PROJECT!!!!
-Very Entertaining Show

Marion-Harding
-Clean up the arms
-great facials
-AWESOME Novelty
-Good Male Sound
-Get rid of the pointing in the ballad, as it’s very sloppy and we already know there’s a solo on stage.
-I was looking for more sound at the end of your crescendos
-Men overpower women in “We’re Dancing”
-Soloists in the closer needs to take the stage
-You’re running out of steam at the end of your show.

Crestview
-Opening blocking was off
-Watch the arms some were being flung around aimlessly
-make each stretched arm have 200,000 volts going out of the end of your hands.
-Add facials to your show, as it isn’t very entertaining with out them
-Make sure the props are secure
-Men please get rid of those tops, I’d recommend a black shirt with black pants
-Closer: I was definatly waiting for the big dance break.

Perry
-More Excitement
-I Love the female sound
-Soloists need to take the stage and make it theirs
-Fantastic Ripples
-I love those suspended chords
-ADORIBLE BALLAD (LOVE IT) J
-Men: watch the diction

Mayfield
-Watch your tone in opening sequence
-watch the arms flying around with no purpose
-Diction in 2nd number
-I love the robots
-lines could be defined more
-girl in 2nd row SL is distracting my head to the left
-bring the tenors back a little bit in the ballad
-clean the “body break”
-Girls: watch the “no!” the tone was a little off
-If girls are turned around, make sure they’re going to be heard in the back row.
-guy 2nd row SL is a count or two off
-last chord was a hair flat
-Get rid of the first costumes the 2nd one fits u better

Van Buren
-Soloist: make a present break between “Okla-no where”, also add facials to that solo, it’s about getting off the train and actually be getting a job. Be Excited about it.
-Clean the arms, and make them more defined
-love the second dance break, you can add some sounds to that, to make it more fun/dramatic.
-Very lovely ballad
-Awesome & Entertaining Novelty
-Watch the hand’s in Jelly’s Jam.

Piqua
-You have the best show all day.
-pretty much the only thing I’d say is make sure u bring David Fehr’s arrangement to life
-Bring the love of music to your faces. 5% don’t have facials

Here's My placements (First with Findlay, second without them)

6. Crestview
7. (tie) West Clermont/Mayfield

Honestly, this is what I felt should've gone down, but then again my opinion doesn't count because I'm not sitting up in the bleacher's with the tape recorder ;). So I hope you guys don't hate me too much.

btw: Everyone did really well yesterday, it was avery well performed show, I know its cliche but I loved it .

This was an awesome competition . I too felt that Findlay made a very classy sacrafice on their part. I loved hanging out with some Marysville people at finals. John, we had an awesome time "critiquing" other groups ;). I do have some decent critiques/comments for everyone... Would u like to hear them?

I didn't get to see Findlay, but I heard they were amazing, as always. I forget the awards they won, I think everything in Division AA.

Piqua recieved in Division A -
. Best Vocal
. Best Choreography
. Best Set/Crew
. Grand Champion

We also recieved best show concept overall and Julie Spraggs recieved Individual Performer Award for PHS.

Great job to everyone again, I liked what I saw.

Congrats to Piqua!

I went over to Ada's contest two or three years ago, and Findlay made the same decision to pull out of the night show because of football playoffs. I think it's a wonderful show of maturity on their part to sacrifice their competition in order to support another organization from their school. How many competing show choirs would do that? I am glad to see that Findlay is keeping it classy under new direction.

What were the daytime results, and what did people think of Findlay? I am looking forward to seeing them this year, and I wonder what they're up to.

4RU - Perry

i have to say that Piqua was amazing! i've been looking forward to seeing them since i heard you were attending Ada, and the trip was most definitely worth it. vocally the group has taken another step, and the show itself is more cohesive than last year's. congratulations on a great show and a great placement (although now i'm a little worried for my own group - we compete against Piqua three times this year).

Woo! My first competition too.

About Findlay... They made a commitment that if they made it to playoffs (football) that they would drop out of the Finals.

Great job for everyone that was there, it was awesome.
