Waubonsie Valley has not ever been heard of before... probably because this is their first year. They had excellent vocal scores at Milton. One judge took them from 4th to 7th. I can definitely see Waubonsie Valley making finals here. i wish i could go but i'll be in nebraska auditioning for scholarships.

Wow awesome sounding competition!

I probably wouldn't be able to get over to Sullivan to see it but man would I like to!

Might be a little early for it, but does anyone have any info as to who would be filming the competition?

To those familiar with the Sullivan area, would the closest hotels be in Decatur or Mattoon?

If you are coming from the south it'll be easier to stay in Mattoon because it is right on I-57. Decatur is harder to get to from the south.

From my understanding, Waubonsie Valley is a very excellent group. They're an up and coming group from Chicago and I believe Dwight Jordan does their choreography. I don't know much about them other than the fact that they surprised a lot of people at Milton. While there are a ton of good groups at Sullivan, I think there's a possibility that Waubonsie Valley could sneak into the finals. Has anyone seen them this year?

Bah, I wish I could go to Sullivan. It'll be an amazing competition.

Hmm, interesting. I saw their name on the roster for the Manteno competition but I'd never heard of them before. My director said they had a really awesome choral program at Waubonsie Valley, but I'd just never heard of them having a show choir.

This is something I better look into.
