It may just be me here, but I noticed they changed the venue from last year to Smith-Cotton High School, and Smith-Cotton is still competing. I know its hosted by the Community College, but is a choir competing in its own venue unheard of??
Actually not at all, Lucas. It occurs annually in Indiana as the large group state contest is held at North Central HS while the small group state contest is held at Plainfield HS. Both North Central and Plainfield tend to compete at the state contest. Similarly in West Virginia, the state contest has been held at member schools that have also competed such as Poca, Hurricane, and Cabell Midland.
