I like the awards for this competition. Awards for each state and size of school really puts things in perspective the scale of show choir. Any weekend, there is a competition with schools who probably wouldn't have heard of each other if it wasn't for Show Choir.
Thanks for sharing. The event has finally been updated.
Did Althoff Catholic "Crusader Innovation" or Grain Valley "Amplified" attend? They were listed on the previous schedule, but not with the awards.
I just copied the print out that I got within our director's packet and those two groups were on the schedule but were not listed for the awards. So I don't really know if they were there because I didn't see either group perform. Sorry.
There were a lot of awards and I hope I got everything correct.

Not hearing much either. All I know is that Mt. Pleasant placed first in their class and was named Best Iowa Show Choir. I assume they made finals. I imagine things are running behind. They usually do there.
Yes they do have a tendency to run very behind here... haha. Congrats to Mt. Pleasant! That being said, now that we are getting into the early morning, has anyone heard of any sort of full results from this one?

Heard about some results from Springfield, but nothing else yet - any finalist announcements? Is the competition running behind? Just curious about this one since it always seems to get lost in the woodwork.
Any ideas on the divisions? I know from last year's event they weren't on the schedule apparently, but there were two sort of different things going on... they announced a large, medium, and small school champion and also had divisions for novice, intermezzo, and artistry levels.
yeah, none of that was on the schedule. I guess you don't find out that info until the day of the competition.
