So Loveland came in second at crystal classic and clover hill came in 4th..? Hm interesting how clover hill swept them by 40 here..

And it's also interesting how Loveland swept them and Colerain the week before at South Dearborn. What's your point?

Big congrats to Clover Hill!

But I really must say as an unaffiliated show choir fan, these were strange results that did not seem indicative of the actual performances. The host school was affiliated with the director of the school that won EVERY SINGLE category. That calls the validity of the competition into question for me.

At south Dearborn 2 of the three judges had Clover Hill 3 points behind Loveland and Clover Hill in the day was one point behind Colerain... So the the speculation is first ridiculous and uncalled for. Different panels like different shows. As anyone who has seen the two shows, they are completely different and some judges will prefer Loveland who has more of a pop show and some will prefer Clover Hill who has a classic show. Not to mention at South Dearborn in both day and night cloverhill had phasing issues with their band and got off, the show there was not good by any means. Those issues did not exist this past weekend. Multiple schools have relationships with the host schools....at EVERY competition. Clover Hill attended two competitions prior to South Dearborn and competed against very talented groups. Just like Solon, they received Grand Champs along with all caption awards. As we can see, the Solon panel wasn't the only panel that approved of Clover Hill's style. I find it "speculative" that you just created this account and never posted before. I just love how so many people are sideline judges 1.) Not being at the competition and 2.) have not seen either group this year....but they feel they should know any outcome based on a previous year's results or here-say ....Regardless of the results the students of Clover Hill and Loveland have an amazing relationship! Both groups are always congratulating and hanging out with each other at competitions...This weekend will no doubt be awesome, and both groups, regardless of outcomes don't feed into negativity by outsiders and will certainly be in the stands supporting each other this weekend as they have the past two.

There were 6 judges in finals, mate!

There were four in the day and five at night. Jason Johnson, Reagan Paras, Laura Ray, Nick Campagna, and Casey Edwards. Nick Campagna was added in the night... Mate.

At South Dearborn, Loveland swept Clover Hill. Here at Solon, Clover Hill swept Loveland. I think we're all in for a treat at Fairfield Crystal Classic this next weekend when these clearly phenomenal show choirs meet up for a 3rd time and then throw in a bunch of other excellent choirs too.

Great show today from ALL the Schools. I didn't know schools could have more than one group eligible for Finals.
