The reason these two spots have been left blank was that the awards stopped due a medical emergency, and they claimed they needed to take care of it. The injury happened when our reps ran up to get second for the mixed divison when one of our guys, Jose, hit his head on Danica, our VP, which caused her to get a small bruise, but he stumbled back, and passed out in the aisle. The award was given for first place without realizing there was a problem, but soon after, the word spread to the front where the MC was notified. An ambulance was called and he was taken the local hospital. Next morning, when we arrived at PHS, he stood there with three stitches and some Dermabond and performed with us. So, for everyone's knowledge, Jose is fine.
On a semi-off topic side note, I wanted to thank Serrano for giving Jose the get well soon card the next morning. You guys are one of my favorite choirs, and what you did was very classy. Thank you.
