Why is the whole event cancelled? Was it just not enough groups registered? Because last year they did FAME Orlando #2 with only 9 groups and none of them went to FAME nationals...
I personally don't know. I would imagine it was a lack of interest. At the end of the day, FAME has to make the best business decisions for them.

FAME Hollywood 2015 has indeed been cancelled and pushed back to a late date for 2016. Probably a better strategy as opposed to February when some California groups haven't even started competing yet.

Why is the whole event cancelled? Was it just not enough groups registered? Because last year they did FAME Orlando #2 with only 9 groups and none of them went to FAME nationals...

So is the Hollywood qualifier being cancelled or are they just really dragging their feet with posting a list?

There are 4 California high schools competing in FAME Events this year. And they either chose Orlando (Brea Olinda, Cypress, Hart) or New York (Los Alamitos). American Leadership Academy (Utah) has Hollywood on their calendar and I suppose it's possible some other choirs from California and maybe even Arizona might attend...
I was thinking the same thing Jeff. I would not be surprised if it does get canceled, if not it might only have very few attrning groups. Will have to see I guess
