Congrats to all the groups who performed and competed at Star Power yesterday!
I was one VERY proud choreographer yesterday! So proud of ALL of my kids who were up on that stage and proud of the Waconia students, parents, and volunteers who hosted a great competition!
THANK YOU to the entire Waconia Community for the awesome day yesterday! Star Power is always such a fun day, whether you're a performer or a spectator, and yesterday was no exception. I also just want to say a huge shout out to RIG, winning their first Grand Champion trophy in 7 years, and for ESS for making finals! It was such a good day for that program, and they couldn't have done it without the support of the community around them. So thank you Waconia for the awesome day! Can't wait until next year.
Ditto Had a great time as always! Didn't stay for finals but shoutout to the sioux city boy who won best soloist! Your my favorite

Alright Headliners, I don't think I've ever posted constructive criticism before on this site in fear it might be taken the wrong way... but I would like to try for once, because you have an AMAZING show on your hands with an awesome band and a lot of vocal talent.
The first number is amazing and I wouldn't change anything, and although the second number is just as impressive, I think (and this is a very far fetched thing to try I'm guessing) but I think it would add a whole new layer to your show if you used show-tuney voices. Just in the second number, I can see it working well! Next, In the ballad, where everyone is singing different parts and there's this really cool layered vocal sound, I think that if the diction was considerably stronger, it would do A LOT for that section. The rest of the ballad is... amazing.
Great work guys, seriously. Love your show. Lots of talent. Hope you do well this year

I wasn't planning on coming today but I see i made a great decision changing my mind! I had such a great time last year and thought "what the heck! I'm not doing anything!" Made it just in time to see Aberdeen, Great Job you Guys!
Once again BEC-TV is on-site at Waconia High School for the Star Power Show Choir Invitational! What does that mean for you? There is a LIVE stream of ALL of today's choirs! As well as DVDs for sale.
