Also, thanks to the Albertville folks for hosting such a great competition and putting on a great exhibition show! You are some of the nicest people and are so helpful with everything!
Tullahoma- I hadn't even heard of you guys before, so it was awesome to see you make finals! Y'all had great song choices, which is what made your show for me. Great job you guys!
Tift County- First off, congrats on making finals for the first time under the direction of Scott Rains. I liked your show, especially the closer when the girls dance on the scaffolding. Great job guys!
Enterprise- I feel like your show is much improved from Tallassee last weekend. I fell in love with your opener this weekend, as well as "I Want It All." Great job, and I can't wait to see you guys again to see how you keep growing!
Clover Hill- WOW! So glad I got the opportunity to see you. Quite possibly the most energetic show choir I've seen live in the past years. I absolutely loved what you did with the risers, and the light up drummers was awesome in the closer! Great show.
Homewood- Honestly, I wasn't impressed last weekend. However, you changed my mind this weekend. Your vocals are amazing. Your ballad is so beautiful, it's been stuck in my head since yesterday. This competition season seems like a roller coaster for you guys, and I hope you're really enjoying it!
The order announced appeared to be prelims placement (just a guess), and then maybe they drew the order backstage when they asked the directors to go back there. Just speculation, though.
The finalists were announced "in no certain order". The directors were to go backstage and join the host and Albertville's choir director to do a blind draw for finals order.

A group more than likely asked for a different position with another, the order announced is normally set, unless changed this year. But I would say more than likely a director asked another for a change with another for different spots.

Clover Hill was very energetic. Was interesting seeing a couple of Clinton's songs over the past few years in their show haha.
Both were from Clinton 2013.
Hmm... It appears that the finalists will not perform in the order that was announced. The first group, according to the feed, is Tullahoma "Aristo Cats."
So proud of the 8th Street Singing Co., they have been through so much of the past few years. I watched them today for the first time in 4 years. At first I was going to the competition just to see family members, but after seeing all Tift Co. groups perform I was very glad with what I saw on the stage. 8th Street Middle was great, Ladies Choice congrats on People's Choice Award your show was so different and entertaining keep up the good work. 8th Street. Singing Co. you guys did an outstanding job you may not realize it yet, but the theme of your show is very realistic you once get out on your own in the real world you're "Workin for a Living". Finally, I have to say thank you to the new director Scott Rains in one year you turned a program that was facing many hardship, into a program that those kids can be proud from where they came from regardless of any medals or trophies. Sorry I'm on my soapbox, but I felt like it needed to be said and that's all I got to say about that.
GC: Clover Hill (BC, Design)
1ru: Homewood (BV)
2ru: Enterprise
3ru: Bradley Central
4ru: Tift
5ru: Tullahoma
Can see Tift up a little higher as well, and enterprise and Bradley could switch with them. I feel Clover hill had really strong Choreo and vocals and had the energy to come out on top. Homewood had amazing vocals, but lacked energy the second have of the show it felt like. Congrats to Tullahoma on their placement into finals. Bradley is stronger than I have ever seen them. And Enterprise is looking much better than they have the past couple years.
As for Tift, it is awesome to see my former director at that program, and I know he will do wonders! Congrats on them making finals and welcome back to Albertville Mr. Rains!
