wow.. today was awesome. This was the first time I had seen Totino since we went to their comp. my freshman year (2 years ago) and their show this year was amazing. I have never seen anything like it before. Too bad the little SCC thing didn't work out... it was only like 4 of us.. (me, matt, alyssa and some girl from totino (sorry I forgot your name)) I had a message up in the totino room but the hosts erased it.... oh well... maybe some other time or maybe even this summer? But congratuations to all the groups who performed today!

That's ok Matt, I forgive you!! I really wanted to be there, I swear - but no can do! But good luck to everyone anyway!!! (Well, I guess by the time most see this it will be over hmm.. - sooo good job to everyone! I'm sure ya'll did great!)

In response to some of the 'strange' questions posted - I was once asked if we still drove covered wagons.. yeah that was a bunch of bull. Then someone though SD was right below Oklahoma and above Texas ( b/c of teh South part... I'd like to know who taught that person geography!) lol! But anyway.....

oh my sweet goodness i'm so excited for tomorrow! I just got home from our middle school night which was amazing... except for the desk falling on my foot and slaming my finger in the room divider... I'd say it was a pretty good night. The rooms look awesome... (especially Totiono Grace's). I think all SCC people should meet under the grand staircase tomorrow right after the afternoon break. I think that would be a good time for everyone. (if nobody is first after break). But if you guys see this tonight look for signs or something. Good luck to everyone tomorrow!

QUOTE(smash @ Apr 2 2004, 05:55 PM)
-do skyscrapers blow over frequently??
-can you really get you driver's license when you're 14?
-HAVE YOU SEEN CARS BEFORE???  " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />  " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> (the normal follow up to this one is, "I thought you just drove tractors")
-How many cows have you seen @ one time?
-Do you have elctricity?
-HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A MALL??

Here goes...

1. There are no skyscrapers in South Dakota (heh).

2. Yes, we can drive when we are 14 (only with a parent). When we are 14 1/2, we can drive alone, until 8. When we are 16, we can drive whenever. (Except that here in Sioux Falls, curfew is at 11). When we are 18, we are free to drive whenever we want.

3. Yes, I have seen cars...maybe once or twice in my life...hehe.

4. I have seen cows, but I don't pay attention to them...I'm a city boy.

5. Yes, we have electricity. We got it last year! (heh - I enjoy this question)

6. The Empire Mall in Sioux Falls is the largest one-floor mall in America! Power to us!

OK...hehe...

Amanda (SuperAlto), I didn't count you as an Aberdonian because you won't be at BOS tomorrow...but I still <3 you!

Remember, my family's from SD, and I love teasing my relatives about this!!! OR it could just be my craziness getting out of hand!!! " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> blushing.gif I know that not everyone lives on a farm, like many people think of us MIINESOOTANS!!! " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> OH, THE INSANITY!!!! HI AGAIN!!! This sounds stupid but I have some really interesting questions about your state, even though I've been there only a bazillion times!!!! Sometimes it's fun to ask things like, "do you have TV???" because a lot of times ppl come up to us & ask if everyone in MN is Norweigian and lives in a log cabin. (of course, we don't!!!) Some people are even like, "Do you know what grass looks like?" " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> It's funny, because thye think we are cave people or something & are disconnected from the modern world.
