OMG IM SO PROUD OF NOGALES THIS YEAR...

it was the first time ever in the past couple of years that we won 1st place!

we also got showmanship and musicianship as well!
everyone was soo shocked and surprised about the results!

our ballad finally was there...
so was our opener...
it was our last competition, so we held nothing back and everything just fell into place.

JUST MY IMAGINATION ROCKED EVERYONES SOCKS!!

im happy to end off my last year in show choir like this...
im gonna miss competitions....
im gonna miss sleeping in my seat waiting for awards to come already...
im gonna miss performing on that stage...
and most of all...

im gonna miss all the HOTT girls on stage from other schools

congratulations to Nogales Chamber Singers! it sux that Rowland didn't go to this competition. good job tho!! i love Just my imagination. it rox my socks!!!!

Unless they wrote down the wrong scores, those for Los Alamitos (in the evening) were not totaled incorrectly. The spread sheet is correct.

Congrats Arcadia on a sweep!  THis year, i can say your showmanship is worthy of that award as it has gotten more difficult every year ive seen you guys!

Thanks!!!!!! It means a lot since we aren't known especially for showmanship. We do do a lot of choreography. Our power ballad is choreographed whereas most schools aren't. We stop only for the a capella.

Who's heard Monrovia <Camerata> sing yet? I have a friend in there and i wanna know if they suck? " border="0" alt="sick.gif" />

I saw Monrovia at Arcadia's Big Pow Wow, for the most part they were pretty good, but they didnt know the choreography much at all, and one of the guys just basically stood there lookin at everyone else, musically, they were good.

Actually, Brown-Eyed Girl, I was looking at your group a couple of times. I was hoping that maybe you would get the hint that it would be nice if you would stop talking during the performance. You were so loud that even one of the adjudicators commented about it. Most of your group was outside and didn't even see Chanteurs, but those inside were not very respectful to us or to some of the other groups. I think that it would be great if more of you (and I mean all participants from all schools) would actually applaud for all of the schools when they finish their programs. I try to get my kids to respond to everyone, and even some of them are not very good about it. It actually embarrasses me.

Okay. Well, in that case, I'm sorry if a few of us were acting up (where I was sitting, I really couldn't much of any talking during any of the numbers...probably because I was so far to the left, but I think most of us noticed you looking). But generally speaking, I tend to think that we're pretty well-behaved. I do think that we do try to cheer and applaud other groups who perform. And we, like many of the groups, give each group a standing ovation during all award ceremonies, to acknowledge their efforts. But like I said, sorry if we were noisy.
