This was DEFINETLY the best competiton I have seen yet. Every single group brought their A game and I had NO clue what the placings were going to be like. Congrats to Burroughs on a job well done. Oh and Brea I absolutely loved sitting by your choir!!!!!! " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
Hahah.
Yeah Brea people are well...interesting to say the least.
;>
But again good job everyone.
&& Chula.
OMFG.
I love your show.
I saw it for the first time and was amazed.
<33
does anybody know how the new spirit girl fell yesterday before the show and do you know if she's okay? she looked pretty hurt.. =\
She is okay! =)
Although it was really painful. She had to stick on two big bandages.
Thank you for the concern!
Although I was backstage the whole time and couldn't see the performances from the front, I would still like to say: GREAT JOB to everyone. Really =) I enjoyed watching ALL your performances.

Congratulations to all on a very fun night! As usual, the location was beautiful and very well miked! I wish In Sync would have been able to see Powerhouse, but what can ya do?
Here's some of things I loved: New Spirit: You have such a pure sound and the Apple tree song is way cute. Pacifica's "Renegade" was soo good, especially the guy who yelled out "yeah!", Hart N Soul's "Love Shack" soloist and NATHAN LUSK!, Sound Waves' phenomenal acapella and "Supertramp"!, Out of the Blue, ...everything. I'm soo proud of you guys! Mark Keppel: "How Far We've Come" is so cute and inspirational, Chanteurs: "Pretty Woman" cracks me up every time; I love watching the guy with the fohawk! Chula: Again...EVERYTHING! You were jipted (sp?) and you know how Burbank feels about you! (We ADORE you, just in case you didn't know.) Hart: Do I even have to say it? Mighty morphin' Power Rangers! Having more than just one ranger is so brilliant, especially the terradactyl Kimberly pink ranger man.PS...You beat Clinton. Diamond Bar: You guys scared me so much with all your flips! But you definitely executed them well and now I don't have to be nervous the next time I see you :> Brea: "The Hills of Shiloh" is simply stunning. And the chimney sweep girls are so cute and talented! Last but not least: Our hosts! Vanessa and Abraham! You guys were too sweet and our goodie bags were SO GOOD.
Congrats again to ALL, and most of you at Burroughs after In Sync and Impressions heads to The Big Apple!
Haha, thank you! Everyone did so good on friday, I wish I could've seen burbank...but I guess I will have to wait a couple more weeks. Can't wait to see everyone at Burroughs!
Wonderful performances by all of the groups Friday night! In fact, they were more than wonderful! We managed to almost sell out (three tickets left - where were those people?).
Audience was quite respectful of all groups and showed great support for everyone.
The main crew (I think provided by Burroughs, but including others) was great. They kept the show moving and got us finished before midnight.
Very close competition. The adjudicators were very impressed. You know that they have all been in this business for years and they thought it was very difficult to find much that groups were doing wrong. Their experience allows them to get it right, which I am confident they did.
Anyway, great job by everyone. You make me very proud to be a part of this wonderful music genre!
Carlsbad- I didn't get to see your show last night but the past few times I've seen it you guys are soooo good, I love your show, it keeps me engaged the whole time and i think that all of you have amazing talents and you work hard and it shows....
I think the reason you didnt get to see their show is because they werent there last night.. but those are some good comments.. im sure they appreciate them
everyone did awesome last night. i am going to do brief descriptions for everyone.
Chula Vista: You guys are absolutely amazing. I don't get why you didn't place, its ridiculous seriously.
My placement: 3rd; Actual placement: 5th
Burroughs: Amazing and absolutely stunning.
My placement: 1st, Show and Music; Actual Placement: 1st, Show and Music
Burbank: You guys are great, i just feel that each time you perform your energy goes down... maybe its just me... but thats what I think.
My placement: 2nd; Actual placement: 2nd
Hart: You guys are pretty entertaining, I think that you guys need a little more control in the vocals and choreography. But other then that, good job guys.
My placement: 5th; Actual Placement: 4th
Diamond Bar: You guys are very entertaining. Keep up the hard work guys!!!
My placement: 6th; Actual placement: 6th
Chula-You're amazing, burbank loves you more than life
Hart-I dont think that anyone will ever be able to top the Powerangers song, it is truly incredibly EPIC!!!Brea- I love your acapella, i was looking for it on youtube but i couldnt find it, somebody needs to post it asap because it was amazing!!
well, thanks to our hosts, you were amazing and so were our goody (SP?) bags....
The performances that I saw last night were easily the best I've ever seen in my life. I would've hated to be an adjudicator for this event- evey choir was amazing.
Things that I loved from everyone's shows!
Keppel: Didn't see you, we were back backstage, but we heard you from the back, and Let's See How Far We've Come sounded amazing. Props on how you did at Los Al (that's the only time I've seen you)!
Hart (I'll cover both groups): Love Shack and Might Morhpin' Power Rangers. What more do I have to say? Oh yeah, AMAZING! I just abut fell out of my chair when I saw this song- I used to be a devout viewer of that show (oh how I miss the old days), and Love Shack is my favorite B-52s song (next to Rock Lobster). Way to go!
Burroughs (again, both groups): Sound Waves' Supertramp Medley makes me smile every time I see it. It's easily one of my favorite bands from that era, and I love every second of that medley. Powerhouse...The Greatest Show on Earth...truly. I almost passed out after listening to Freak on a Leash, massive props to Mr. Jennings for having that song and you guys pulled it off so well!
Burbank (both groups again): I loved the Top 40 from the advanced group- that was one of the funniest things I think I've seen since The Director Says (I think you guys did that in 2005?), anyways, I loved the opener from you guys. To Out of the Blue, I loved your medley- super entertaining in all respects. Well done!
Brea: Didn't see you last night, but I've seen you in the past, and I love you guys. Really, your show is all about the Broadway, and it fits so well with your choir. Great job!
Diamond Bar: I don't think I've seen flips done as well well as you pulled them off. I really liked your show a load, though, especially your opener.
Chula: I thought your show was great! Electric Youth was soo good, and I liked your background (where can I get those for a wall mount " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> )
Thanks to the Arcadia choral program for putting on an awesome show! Easily a must buy for my DVD collection.

LOL! That's a very fun number to do, especially doing the scream. A buddy and I do the scream from the back row of the risers- we are the the two in the center back riser, and to further narrow it down, I was the one that was on a riser all by himself for after the switch of formation going into "Oh mama, I've been years on the lam..." We appreciate your compliment very much! Thank you!
