Well since I'm finally functioning after this competition I just figured I should say something. I had a TON of fun yesterday! As always Purvis were fantastic hosts!! I've been coming to this competition since 9th grade and have always loved it! And finally, congratulations to all the groups that competed today you all had wonderful shows! It really looks like I'm just saying that at this point, but in all honesty this is the most intense I've ever seen the south! The lines between the divisions are really beginning to blur and it seems like any given weekend anyone could end up winning! Which is so much more exciting than a stagnant division!

Petal got Overall Effect as well

Thanks! The text I got didn't include that. I only have 5% left and I'm at Opelika (which feels like the longest competition and I've only been here from prelim awards on), so my last post of the night is congrats to Petal and all the other finalists/groups who competed today!

does anyone have a list of the judges at this competition. I'm actually here, but the program doesn't have the judges listed.

I didn't realize there was a middle school competition here, but these results have been posted on the Purvis (Day One) page. If you know of any other middle schools that attended, please let us know and we can add them to the event.

We also never got the finalized schedule for Saturday either… so come on Southern forums help us have the most accurate information out there!

Large middle school division results:
1st Jackson Academy (BC, BV, Best overall effect)
2nd Petal

This will be our (Philadelphia High) first competition. We are VERY new to this and a newly formed group. Please support the girls as they experience this event and learn for future events, . Thanks, Angela Boatner, director of Philly Harmony

Best of luck! Where else will Philly Harmony be competing this year? Maybe I'll get the chance to see them.
