Wow...all six groups that made finals here have gone on to win a Grand Championship at least once so far this year. Talk about a good competiton!
It was an extremely good competition! A lot of entertaining shows also!

The name of the Best Female Soloist is Emma Stier and the Best Male Soloist is Harry Daubitz. Both of them were phenomenal yesterday!
Congrats Harry!!! Way to go!

does anyone have the ability to change the waukee starstruck webpage because they switched totino and prairie on accident in finals results

Are you saying that Totino was 2nd RU and CR Prairie was 4th RU?

All I can say is what a competition! I hope everyone that went and was a spectator or competitor had as awesome of a day as I had personally! So many really good shows and all different in their own ways! I hope everyone enjoyed!

I heard it was Emma's birthday too- that's one heck of a birthday present!!
It was indeed her 18th birthday - not too shabby of a gift!

It was so great to compete here with SO MANY great groups like IC West and WDM Valley! I had the privilege of seeing both shows and you guys were FANTASTIC! I know that after prelims the point spread between the top three groups was the following:

IC West
4 points
CR Prairie
3 points
WDM Valley

I can only assume that finals were close too!

Probably... Just like you've been away too long to know that Linn-Mar isn't spelled Linn-Marr (but that's a whole other topic, in a other topic). :-p
Well, at least I still have my friend Jorge still to point that out to me hope all is well with you and your choir!

I want to see them too!

You were there then! It was us, Johnston, and you guys in the top 3 right?
Indeed. Things I remember about that comp. I think Johnston wore blue and pink costumes, Waukee had really trippy costumes and their show was about time (maybe that is wrong). And the Vocal Jazz. I think it would be cool if Hastings got to have their VJ perform at their competition. Either way! Way to go Valley!
