Saturday is going to be an awesome day of show choir! This is the 40th Annual Bishop Luers Midwest Invitational, the longest running show choir invitational in the nation! We have a ton of great groups competing, and we are going to have a LIVE FEED. You can get there very easily from the home page of www.bishopluers.org. Look for the invitational logo! Hopefully you can join us to see several past Grand Champions competing with some of the best groups in the region; but if you can't, check it out online! Best of luck tomorrow, wherever you may be!
I wouldn't leave Dwenger out of the finals either. We were very strong performers at Crete against some very, very tough competition. Looks to be an exciting day!
Busco and Mundelein should not be left out of the chance to get in the top 6. This is a big battle of the previous grand champs. Dekalb, Findlay, Edgewood, and Mundelein have all grand championed here before. It is going to be a tough day! Celebrating our 40th in style!!
Finals are for the top 6 mixed groups from any class. Single-Gender awards are given out at the end of the day show.
I hope everyone is getting excited. Our students and parents are working hard to make it a great day for you.
The Luers competition is coming up this weekend, so we might as well get this thread going. I'll start out by asking, how is finals determined? Does every tier have the opportunity to be invited back for finals? Maybe somebody from the inside can give us more insight.
