Lincoln and Davenport West tied in rankings during finals, they used the daytime vocals scores to break the tie.

Results have been posted.

HUGE thanks to Keokuk for offering a live stream, even if it had issues at times, it was a totally awesome thing to provide! I enjoyed Washington's sea-themed show and was really impressed with Naperville North's first competition, definitely bright things ahead for this group!

SuFuWa got 1st places from all six judges.

It is so nice to see Naperville North finishing high. Another Chicago area show choir would be great!

Naperville north's groups are new groups from a high school in the Chicago suburbs. They've existed for 3 years, this is their first time competing.

They're known for their exceptional jazz band, so that should carry over into show choir.

Finalists and daytime awards have been posted.

Best soloists were Kevin Johnson and Kayla Combs; choir names were not announced. If anyone knows which groups these awesome soloists were from, please let me know and I can add them.

Those individual soloists were amazing, by the way... what talent.

Huh - this stream is working perfectly for me! So I guess my computer isn't so sucky after all... Sure wish the Urby one was working though - I'd like to see that final round.
It all has to do with the internet connection at the venue and how they're serving the stream to people. Keokuk is sending one stream over their connection to livestream, which is a company built specifically for this sort of thing and has the bandwidth to support many, many viewers. They then take the one stream and broadcast it to everyone. I believe Urbandale is trying to support all of the viewers themselves over their own school internet connection and it just can't keep up. But you try new things and learn and hopefully get it worked out for next time.

Thanks for the bump! Livestream is actually the company I'm using for all of the official SCC streams, so if you sign up you can actually follow the SCC Channel and when we confirm the events we're streaming this year you can see when they're coming up. I'm not having any problems watching that stream either.

I was definitely impressed by Naperville North "Entourage". They had a really great and fun show. It will be interesting to see how they stack up here considering this is their first year of competition. I see a lot of potential with this group and look forward to seeing their growth over the next few years!

This is buried a bit in the forums, but if anyone is interested there is a live stream as Nick mentioned above ^^^. You do have to create an account with the 3rd party group, but that doesn't take too long and the stream seems to be working pretty consistently for me.

If they take after the other schools in the area we could see another great Chicago choir. One of my friends from my Freshman year in college student taught there and he had great things to say about them from what I remember.
