Well, so long as people are throwing out what they think:

GC: Center Grove (crew)
1RU: Hastings (BV, BB)
2RU: Glenwood (BC)
3RU: Findlay
4RU: Homewood (female soloist, female performer)
5RU: Buffalo Grove (male soloist, male performer)

Probably as out there as I can get with all captions. What if this actually happened though?

I'm going to make a blind prediction at finals! In no particular order

Center Grove "Sound System"
Findlay "First Edition"
Mt. Zion "Swingsations"
Hastings "Riverside Company"
Glenwood "Titan Fever"
Buffalo Grove "Expressions"

It's really interesting how Buffalo Grove, Glenwood, and Mt. Zion have competed against each other and against other groups going! I think it'll be interesting to see how all of that plays out. I think it's going to be really tight between Center Grove and Hastings. Both amazing groups, both have had great seasons, and both have competed against other many hard groups. It'll all come down to what the judges think! Good luck to all groups!

PREDICTIONS:

WOMEN

GC:Center Grove "Debtones"
1st RU:Clover Hill "Iridescence"
2nd RUetal "Innovations"

What do you mean "swept" Wheaton?

He doesn't mean the competition, he means Glenwood competed against Wheaton and swept.

Buffalo Grove is great, but I don't know that they are good enough to say "almost certain." Granted that the only video I remember seeing of them is from way back, most of the issues I had with them were spacing (I'm a Nazi with that and intonation) and the blackout thing just not being clean. Findlay, I have not seen, and if I remember correctly (I'm on my phone/at a play currently) has not beaten big names. Glenwood swept Wheaton, Center Grove I've seen via video and was impressed, and Hastings I've also seen via video and been impressed. The same thing may happen with Findlay, but otherwise I would have to say "likely finalist" instead of "almost certain."

ZOMG I WISH I COULD GO SEE THIS!

Good luck to everyone performing! Remember that points and standings are secondary to performing to the best of your abilities and telling the message of your show. I also hope that all of the students going are able to make at least one friend from a show choir in a different state. That's what show choir is really about, people: having fun, and making a connection with people you never expected to.

GOOD LUCK!

Nobody cares. Stop clouding these threads with your "Final Rankings."

I'm fairly certain they will be nearly as unusable as the National Ranking System just because of the nature of these competitions and varying opinions of the judges.

In doing My Final Ranking, there is no pre-season, and I consider any and all competitions in that school year to be actually regular season! Bring on all the Thumbs Down you want. I consider any judged compeition to be actual. Any-one can change their set and show in mid-season and many do.

Nobody cares. Stop clouding these threads with your "Final Rankings."

I would almost go as far to say that I think Findlay and BG are pretty set for finals...

Buffalo Grove is great, but I don't know that they are good enough to say "almost certain."
